Prize Rebel Question - (Yahoo Answers)

When you do surveys on prize rebel, which survey do you do??
Im wondering what is safe

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker
Oh, it's all safe as long as you stay in the 100% free category. You might get spammed by callers asking you if you're interested in stuff, but it's worth it. If you want to avoid this, which I reccomend, use a different address and phone number than your own. But they still must be real, so you could use a cell phone number that is no longer in service, or an address for somebody random in your area. The name you give does not have to be true either. I know it says giving false information will result in suspension, but it doesn't. And even if you used your real valid information, you could never be forced to pay anything. So you're safe.

Prize Rebel Question - (Yahoo Answers)

Is Prize Rebel Legit?
I've read a lot of mixed opinions on Y!A about prizerebel.com. I just want to hear from someone who got their prize or someone who got scammed. Is it legit? Do you actually get what you win? Do they send you spam or anything else to your home address?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker
they are legit, i've gotten shipped items and emailable codes from them before. For the surveys you will have to put info but you can always put your neighbors. For the email, i just create a new email as you will get spam

Prize Rebel FAQS -(Underground blog)

Overview:

Prizerebel.com is probably one of the more knoticed freebie sites on The Underground Blog.

How do you make money?:

This site if offer based. It has a small referral set up but for the most part, you are on your own. You do offers from a long list, each with its own point value assigned to it for its compleation. Once you have collected enough points, you are able to choose from their prize guide or custom order an item if it is not on the prize guide.

How do I cash out?:

Cashing out is done through their “Availabe Prizes” section. They have a long list of available prizes to choose from. You can also custom order items through a support ticket system. All custom and regular prizes are fulfilled from amazon.com. That means that you can custom order anything on amazon.com but if amazon.com doesn’t have it, they probably can’t help you on that perticular item. I have personally used this site and cashed out on it with no problems. I received the prize within about a week of ordering it.

Overall Rating of Site:

This is a hard site to rate. Although it is very easy to get points, a lot of the offers mess up and don’t give credit because of cookie problems. The referral program only gives 20% of the referrals points to your account but it is an understandable amount none-the-less. I will give this site an 9/10. I can think of easier sites to get free stuff on but this one stands out with its vast selection of no-credit card-required offers. It may take longer to get the item but it can be worth the time and effort in the end!

Helpful Tips to this site:

When using this site you will have to do some work with the cookies on your computer to make sure that you will get credit for the offers on the site. For a good checklist of things to do, go to the Prize Rebel FAQ then look in the “How can I increase my chance of getting credited?” section.

Tips on Ordering Prizes

Well after you get points from your surveys, it's time to order a prize. Go to the left side of the webpage and select the "view available prizes" tab. Look through all of the pages and prize catorgories. You also have to look at how many points each prize costs. Pick the prize you want and put in your REAL address so they can send you your prize.

If you don't feel safe about giving your address here are some ways to still get prizes. You can order Best Buy, Target, and Amazon.com gift cards. They send you an online giftcard through your email. All you have to do is print it out and bring it to the store and you can buy items from the store.

If you don't like any of the prizes they have available you can select the "custom prizes" tab. Then you have to already picked an item from amazon.com (the ratio is 1 point=$1 and you must have enough points to cover the item and the shipping fees), then open a support ticket and fill out the following information...

Item url Sellers name (if applicable)
Your Name, Shipping Address and phone #

If you have any questions, as always, leave a comment under this post.

Getting Started

After signing in you must start filling out surveys. Go to the left side and find the "view available offers" tab. Then scoll through the lists and start off with surveys that are worth above 1 point. Before you start look at the requirements to see how far to go or what to do. Start the survey and put in false information (you must find a real address and zip code to use; use an old address or some other one you might know; if you need help just leave a comment and i will help). After you finish the survey don't be worried if you dont recieve your points right away, it could take as long as 24 hours to process your information.
